So, it's been a really slow weekend, outside of Watchmen, which I have now seen twice, and am ready to make it three as soon as money actually is gained by yours truly. However, there are a couple of pieces of news that have been reported on, and I figure, it's my duty to bring you these items, as painful as one of them may be to write.
- The upcoming DC Comics film, The Green Lantern, has set a release date, and that magical day of magic is December 17, 2010...
- Tracey Morgan and Martin Lawrence have joined the cast of the Neil LaBute remake of the 2007 film, Death At A Funeral, which will star Chris Rock...
- Two new trailers have been released, for two rather interesting films. The first is for the Limits of Control, and is directed by indie favorite, Jim Jarmusch. The film stars Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Gael Garcia Bernal and Isaach De Bankolé, and here is the plot synopsis...
The Limits of Control is the story of a mysterious loner (Isaach De Bankolé), a stranger, whose activities remain meticulously outside the law. He is in the process of completing a job, yet he trusts no one, and his objectives are not initially divulged
I'm a huge Jarmusch fan, and this one looks rather good! Check it out below! Oh, and if you need a starter in Jarmusch, check out Coffee and Cigarettes...just saying...
Next, here is the new trailer for the Bradley Cooper/Zack Galifinakis starrer, the Hangover, and while it's not my cup of tea, seeing the bearded one (Galifinakis), with a tiger, it's just some classic stuff. Check it out!
- Finally, Dakota Fanning has officially signed on to play some vampire in the Twilight series. I didn't open up the article because I don't care. Actually, I like Dakota Fanning a lot, as she is probably the best young actress in Hollywood, so just give me a second...
She's playing Jane. There Twilight fans. I'll be reviewing a real vampire film on Tuesday, Let The Right One In, so come back then for some true vampire love...
Go see something good!
