Hey guys. Here is a trailer for a sure fire Oscar bait type film, that looks PHENOMINAL...
It's a film called Milk, and is a biopic on the life of Harvey Milk. Harvey Milk was, as Time Magazine put it, "the first openly gay man elected to any substantial political office in the history of the planet." The film come to us from Gus Van Sandt, director of such great films as Good Will Hunting, Gerry, Last Days, Elephant, and probably the best film I've seen this year, Paranoid Park. It also features, probably the best cast of any film coming out this year, even Burn After Reading, as it stars Josh Brolin, James Franco, Emile Hirsch, Diego Luna, and Sean Penn in the lead role. This, as you all know is one I've been hotly anticipating, as the director and cast really intrigued me, and seeing this trailer makes this one of my most anticipated films of the upcoming season. The period looks great, the cast is awesome, Harris Savides is the cinematographer on the damn thing.
If this interests you, there is a really great documentary called the Times of Harvey Milk, and if this trailer intrigues you, and the subject catches your eye, please, check this film out.
What are your thoughts???
Go see something good!
