Hey guys! Alright, so last night, before an encore presentation of the AWESOME show Fringe, Fox decided to air this little diddy of a "trailer" for the upcoming thriller/remake, The Day The Earth Stood Still...check it out!
I can now say I'm really looking forward to this flick. Sure, it's a remake of a film that was saved in the library of Congress, but this looks amazing. The effects look great, Keeanu plays a wooden alien like it's his true life (could it be??), and Jennifer Connelly looks gorgeous, as she always does. Sure, they changed the theme, but in the original, the had a timely theme, and now that it's about enviornmentalism, it does too. I really like this 7 minutes, and it did for this movie, like a similar release before Ratatouille did for that flick. Before this trailer, I was not excited at all, but now this film is one of my most anticipated for the year. The tagline is awesome too. "If the Earth dies, you die. If you die, the Earth lives." Haunting...
