Apparently, the sleuths over at /Film have dug up a really interesting audio clip from an interview with the director of the upcoming adaptation of Eclipse, the third book in the Twilight franchise. With the news of his new job, you would think that at one point in time, Slade had a love, or at least an interest in the project and it's source material. Well, you would have been wrong.
"Twilight drunk? No, not even drunk? Twilight on acid? No, not even on acid. Twilight at gun point? Just shoot me."

The simple reason behind him taking this job even though he doesn't like the material is money. Any director will take on a film for what I am certain is quite the payday that Summit is going to shell out to the guy. No matter what, this is great news for us all, as this will almost certainly piss off the die hard fans, but will hopefully be his statement that he will be making a few "creative changes" with the source material.
