NEWS: Dolph, Duplicity, and Star Trek...

Hey guys! I hope all is well, as today is a gorgeous one, with not much in the way of film news, which can be expected. Here are your noteable headlines...

- Dolph Lundgren has indeed joined Stallone, Statham, and Jet Li in the cast of the upcoming, instant CLASSIC action film, the Expendables. This film could be them kicking boxes and it would be the greatest film ever made...

- As rumored and hinted at in the Incredible Hulk, Tim Blake Nelson WILL be following up his role as "Mr. Blue", and will take on the role of The Leader, as the villian for the next Hulk film, and possibly, at least this is what I'm leaning towards, the Avengers...

- The Movie Blog has grabbed a new, recut, Star Trek trailer featuring a five second clip of Leonard Nemoy as "Old Spock"...check out the link below...

I'm not at all a Trekkie, but even I'm a little pumped after seeing that trailer. What do you guys think?

- In other trailer news, there is a new trailer for the upcoming Julia Roberts/Clive Owen romantic spy flick, Duplicity, and it looks mighty cool...

I personally think this looks pretty cool, and I do actually like Roberts as an actress. Thoughts?

- And finally, the first trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, WILL be attached to The Day The Earth Stood Still...

That's all I've got for now folks, come back later for more news and notes!

Hey guys! So, today has been a pretty slow day, but I do have the pleasure of bringing you a 5 minute trailer for the upcoming Keanu Reeves remake, The Day The Earth Stood Still...check it out!

What do you guys think about it? It's pretty much extended footage from what was shown on TV a couple of months back, but eh, I really like the stuff they are showing. What about you guys?

TRAILER: 7 Minutes of The Day The Earth Stood Still...

Hey guys! Alright, so last night, before an encore presentation of the AWESOME show Fringe, Fox decided to air this little diddy of a "trailer" for the upcoming thriller/remake, The Day The Earth Stood Still...check it out!

I can now say I'm really looking forward to this flick. Sure, it's a remake of a film that was saved in the library of Congress, but this looks amazing. The effects look great, Keeanu plays a wooden alien like it's his true life (could it be??), and Jennifer Connelly looks gorgeous, as she always does. Sure, they changed the theme, but in the original, the had a timely theme, and now that it's about enviornmentalism, it does too. I really like this 7 minutes, and it did for this movie, like a similar release before Ratatouille did for that flick. Before this trailer, I was not excited at all, but now this film is one of my most anticipated for the year. The tagline is awesome too. "If the Earth dies, you die. If you die, the Earth lives." Haunting...

What are your thoughts?

The Day The Earth Stood Still Trailer...

Hey guys, today is July 4th, so it's kind of a slow news day, as it should be, but there is one big piece of news. Here is the newest trailer for the upcoming Sci Fi remake, The Day the Earth Stood Still...

I rewatched the original trailer, and I just recently watched the film, and to me, this is unnecesary, HOWEVER, it does look like it could be good. I love Jennifer Connelly as you all know, and Keanu does give me pause, but then I remember he plays an alien, so that works. I am kind of excited for this flick now. The poster's lame, but the trailer and cast are decent, so it's on my radar. What do you guys think???
