Top 10 Revenge films...

Okay, so heres the deal. Deception is coming out this weekend, and while I don't give a shit about it and know very little about it too, I do believe that somewhere in the plot, revenge will be a big part. So here is my list of the ten greatest revenge films ever put to celuloid...

Oldboy really has to be my number one with a bullet. That whole vengance triology can be right up there (Sympathy for Mr. Vengance, and Sympathy for Lady Vengance are the other two films), but you have to take the best one, and one of the best films to come out of the past five years. The hallway fight scene is worth the price of a rental all by itself.

Alright, so except a review of a new release some time this weekend, and next weeks top 10 is still up in the air, but I am leaning towards top 10 Westerns...if any of you have a better idea, just leave a comment.

Leonardo DiCaprio produced and narrated flick that is basically a redue of An Inconvinent Truth. Worth a rent if you are into the subject of global warming and climate change...

Film about the Iraq War starring Robert Redford, Tom Cruise and the always brilliant Meryl Streep...it just kind of came and went...however, I say give it a chance...

THERE WILL BE BLOOD

Probably the best film to come out last year, and maybe of the decade so far. I'm not going to say anything else, other than that and the star, Daniel Day-Lewis gives one of the best performances EVER...run out and BUY this film...buy 10 copies...it's for your own good...

It looks to be a comedy in the mold of the afformentioned Sideways and last years overrated hit, Juno...however, hopefully it will actually be good...

Top 10 Overrated films...a few bits of news...

Okay, so this list is a tough one to talk about. I in no way mean that these following 10 films are bad...well, a couple are to me, but thats not what I mean. I simply don't think that these films are as great as many people say they are. So, don't burn me for this...also, it's a slow ass news day, so why not spark up some controversy, eh? Here are just a couple of notes that have caught my attention...

-Universal Studios has gotten the rights to create a Neil Armstrong film. The bought the rights to the non fiction book First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong, so expect that to come out in the coming year or so.
-I am happy to hear that Roger Ebert is going to return to writing reviews for the Chicago Sun-Times...coming from an aspiring film critic, I want to say that I am glad to hear one of my idols is doing well after complications caused by a Janurary surgery.
-Halo has allegedly gotten a new script. Halo has been in limbo for about two years, but now it looks like a new script has been shopped around in Hollywood, so more on that later...

Top 10 1st Quarter....

Hey guys. Today is a slow ass news day, outside the news that Adam Sandler broke his ankle playing basketball, so I decided that, as it is April 1, that I would rank my top 10 films of the first 3 months of this year...This was really hard, as not a whole lot of amazing stuff has come out, and i've only seen 21 films so far this year, so not a lot to choose from..but here it goes anyways...

7. Persepolis (eh, it came out in Europe last year, but wasn't widely released in the states until this year, so it counts)

Some news...top 10 Music films...

Hey guys...here are some more notes that you all should know...

-Rumors are surfacing that a new Poltergeist film is in the works...nothing big of note yet, so I will bring more about it as it rises...
-The recent Knight Rider has been considered such a hit that it is looking like it will spawn a new television series...better have the Hoff...
-Derek Mears, from The Hills Have Eyes 2, has now been cast as Jason Vorhees in the upcoming Friday the 13th remake...
-Joy Ride fans...Joy Ride 2 is coming later this summer direct to your television set...
-Danny Trejo has hinted that the upcoming Machete film may not be the only one...it has been hinted that it may become a trilogy with Rodriguez helming at least the first two...I really hope so...
-Mos Def has been casted to play Chuck Berry in the upcoming biopic, Cadillac Records...that may be perfect casting if I do say so myself...can't wait...
-Next film from the Meet the Spartans crew...Art House Movie: There Will Be Farts...I'm serious...two pages of the script are done and online...I have my flamethrower ready...
-Madonna has been campaigning to star in a remake of Casablanca...they want to set it in a zone in Iraq...can't anyone come up with a creative idea...I have some scripts if they really need them...
