VIDEO: Like, Dude, The First Five Minutes To The Greatest Film Ever BRAHHHHHH...

So it's just a few days away. This Friday sees the release of not only a billion frat guy burps followed by cheap Tarantino quote rip-offs, followed by the sequel to the mentally handicapped Boondock Saints, cleverly titled Boondock Saints 2 (Genius!): All Saints Day. Soon to be the greatest film ever made for the 18+ with idiocy set, the film sees the original cast (minus the originals only saving grace, Willem Dafoe)coming back, and now Apparition has released the opening sequence, the first five minutes, of The Boondock Saints II: All Saint’s Day on IGN. The film and this opening looks like complete crap, so I really don't feel like talking about it. Here's what /Film had to say:

The sequence basically explains why the Saints must return from hiding. What else? A montage set to “badass music” featuring the Saints cutting off their hair/beards and taking showers (yes, I’m serious), an obvious black and white flashback to the original film (couldn’t they have re-filmed the scene from a security camera angle for the news cast instead?), and the introduction of Julie Benz (who many of you will know from Dexter) as Special Agent Eunice Bloom. Watch the 5 minute and 21 second opening sequence embedded after the jump, and leave your thoughts in the comments below.

I hope you can spell shit. Sesame Street here just told you straight up.

TRAILER: The Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day...

You know that giant beer and weed infested burp you just heard? That was douche bag college kids joygasming as their "favorite movie, like, EVER" just got a sequel, which also just got a really rudimentary and uninspiring trailer.

The original, basicially Tarantino but without the balls or you know, the good stuff, stared Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus and Billy Connelly, who have returned for this sequel. Here is the sequel's plot, via /Film

A COPYCAT KILLER IS IMITATING THE BOONDOCK SAINTS! GUNS! JULIE BENZ IS HOT! SLOW MOTION! MORE GUNS! SLOW MOTION! PEOPLE SHOOTING THINGS! ONE-LINERS! LOTS OF GUNS! PEOPLE GETTING SHOT! MORE ONE-LINERS! SLOW MOTION! CLIFTON COLLINS JR.! MORE GUNS! EXPLOSIONS! BILLY CONNOLLY HAS LOTS OF GUNS IN HIS JACKET AGAIN! AGAIN WITH THE ONE-LINERS! PETER FONDA, FOR SOME REASON! DID I MENTION THERE WERE GUNS IN THIS MOVIE? SLOW MOTION!

Enjoy this paint by numbers, Tarantino-lite trailer. If there is one thing that this trailer does WELL, it makes me get out of my couch and throw In Bruges into my DVD player. THAT is an interesting hit man film.

VIDEO: Video Blog From The Set of BOONDOCK SAINTS 2...

Hey guys! I have the great honor to bring you a new video blog from director Troy Duffy, who is currently shooting the much anticipated sequel to the cult hit, Boondock Saints 2. Now, for the past couple of months or so, I've heard rumblings that this was being fast tracked, but I was very surprised today to check out /film and notice this video up. Enjoy!

Here's what /film had to report...

The Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day is actually happening after all. In the past we’ve told you Troy Duffy’s plans for the sequel but despite the fact that the filmmaker assured everyone that the film was actually happening, we were all a bit skeptical (as we should be, this thing has been in the works for a long time now). Production officially began last week in Toronto. Sean Patrick Flanery (www.seanflanery.com) and Norman Reedus (www.normanreedusonline.com) have returned as the McManus brothers. Some original characters (Billy Connolly, David Della Rocco, Brian Mahoney) are returning and some new characters (Clifton Collins Jr., JoJo Rhama, and more) will be introduced into the story. Duffy has been posting video blogs on his YouTube page. It’s a lot of Troy talking to a camera, with an occasional video posting where Troy or some of the actors answer questions. Thanks to Wendy Shepherd for the tip.

What do you guys think about this sequel? What about the original?
