So, I've had a hectic weekend, and never got around to doing my weekend post. Therefore, I have decided to bare it down to only the upcoming releases for DVD. Here are the films that you should buy, rent and burn...

BUY
- Iron Man -
The 318 Million dollar hit, that started the summer season off with a bang. Lead by a brilliant performance from it's star, Robert Downey Jr., this is one film every action film and comic book fan should own. Comes in a single disc, and two disc edition, along with a Best Buy Exclusive Box Set that includes a bust of the Iron Man helmet, along with a 100$ gift certificate to sideshowcollectables.com...

RENT
- Bigger, Faster, Stronger* -
Little seen documentary on steriods in sports, and the effects thereof. Crittically acclaimed, and much adored, this little documentary saw a very limited release, and is now available on DVD.
- Chapter 27 -
Film about Mark David Chapman, the man who took the life of Beatle, John Lennon. Starring Jared Leto, this film also saw a limited release, and was shown at my hometown film festival, The Waterfront Film Festival, to mixed reviews. Lindsay Lohan also stars.

BURN
- Forgetting Sarah Marshall -
Sure, it's much loved by critics, even ones I respect. However, I'm alone in my detest for most of Judd Apatow and crew's work. This one does have a little hope though. RUSSEL BRAND. The guy is a genius, and may save this film. I've not seen this one yet, but will be checking it out on Tuesday, so take this with a grain of salt. I may like it, but as of the trailers and crew behind it, I'm saying burn it..

That's all I've got for now...come back later for more news, notes, and a DVD review of Forgetting Sarah Marshall...

Go see something good!
