Today has seen quite a bit of news, but none may be nearly as big, or as interesting to yours truly as this new international trailer for the hotly anticipated release, 500 Days of Summer. While the trailer does paint a more traditional portrait for the film, it's obviously an attempt to sell the film to the three people that aren't already insanely excited for the film, and for that it works. It's still a phenominal trailer for what is easily my most anticipated romantic comedy of the year, and maybe one of the 5 most anticipated films I have for the rest of the year. From the cast, to the crew, to the already ipmossibly awesome trailers and soundtrack, I can't say enough good things about this film. Just see the damn thing!
The film is told primarily in flashbacks/forwards, which is kicked off by the break up between the leads, Summer (Zooey Deschanel) and Tom (Joseph Gordon Levitt), and it goes through their relationship, and Tom's struggle to get her back. Check out the new trailer below and see the film when it hits theatres from Fox Searchlight on July 17th!
